Mr. Edward Griffin was the distinguished speaker for aid to the Racine Black History Youth Awards 2013 in Racine, Wisconsin, in February 2013. Participating students were those who rarely received recognition for outstanding academic performance in the Racine Unified School System. This presentation took place in the Racine Memorial Hall in downtown Racine.

Mr. Griffin motivated students and parents to realize that dreams can come true if you believe in yourself and in hard work. No matter what the dream may be, with God’s help everyone can make their dreams come true by working hard and believing in themselves.

Edward talks about growing up, his friends and how directions in life can lead a person in different ways. By being positive and not joining the crowd, everyone can make their dreams come true. The speech was well received.

The audience was full and was only standing room. Mr. Edward Griffin is a shining example of how each of us can progress regardless of the circumstances.
